Apply to Valley Classical school

One student application per student seeking admission must be completed. Please note there are separate applications for Primer (Pre-K - Kinder), Grammar (1st - 4th Grades), Logic (5th - 7th Grades), and Rhetoric (9th - 12th Grades) Schools. The Admissions Portal will generate the appropriate application for a student based on the grade selected for that student. Applications may be completed in multiple sittings, however data will not automatically be saved. You must click “Continue” at the bottom of each section to save your information, including when moving on to the next section.

Please note that the following grades now have a waiting pool for the 2024-2025 academic year:

*If you are a previous VCS family looking to return to the school, please email admissions@valleyclassicalschool.org.

Family Information

Each student application contains questions relating to the entire family. Family-related sections will be completed only once; some sections will save across student applications, however other sections will contain further instructions directing you to enter the name of the student applicant where that section is completed rather than completing that section in each student application. The following instructions will be included in the instructions for these essay sections:

Note: this question only needs to be answered on one student application. For all other student applications, please indicate within which student application this section has been accurately completed (Ex. “See Michael’s application.”).

Also within the Essay section of each application will be several sections with instructions to open a document containing VCS policies and parent commitment statements; each of these sets of information can be found on the same document. The document may be opened once and used when completing all the necessary sections.

Church and Academic References

Each family must include the contact information for someone in leadership at their church to serve as a character reference. Each incoming 1st grade and higher student application will require one letter of reference from a teacher, principal, or an academic mentor. Valley Classical School will contact these individuals as part of the admissions process.

Academic Assessments

A student academic assessment is required as a part of each student application for incoming grades of Kindergarten and higher. Academic assessments should be downloaded from the Attachments section of the Admissions Portal, completed, scanned, and uploaded to the Documents section of the Portal. Necessary academic assessments must be uploaded before applications can be submitted.
