Logic School Bible Teacher Position Description

        
                    Summary
                    This position would entail teaching a Bible class to our Logic School students (combined grades 5th - 8th) for two 50-minute periods, one on Monday and one on Wednesday. It would involve preparing to teach the Bible class each week, but no additional grading, since there are no formal assignments or assessments in the Logic School Bible classes. The school will select two books of the Bible to be studied, one for each semester. The teacher would be responsible for leading the class through reading and discussing the selected book of the Bible.

                    Start date
                    Classes begin August 26, 2024. Training for incoming teachers will take place between August 6th and 9th
                
                    Required qualifications
                    Bachelor's degree; agreement with and support of the school's statement of faith; strong commitment to Christian education and the classical model of education
                
                    Additional desirable qualifications
                    Teaching experience at a classical school; Teaching certification; advanced degree
