Rhetoric School Latin Teacher Position Description (Upper Latin III)
Summary | This position would entail teaching an Upper Latin III class to 10th grade students. This course is intended to prepare students to begin reading original Latin texts. The class will meet on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays mornings. Curriculum (Latin Alive! Book 3 by Classical Academic Press) and pacing are set by the school, and a basic blueprint is provided. Additional responsibilities would include any necessary class planning & preparation, writing and posting weekly lesson plans, grading, attending Upper School (Logic & Rhetoric) faculty/staff meetings or events, and helping out with any other tasks as requested. |
