Development Coordinator Position Description

Summary This position would oversee and support fundraising efforts of Valley Classical School by conducting donor and grant research, preparing monthly communications, tracking donations and expressing gratitude to donors, organizing fundraising events, working with Marketing Coordinator to create fundraising material, and establishing & managing volunteers to assist in fundraising tasks. This role will take approximately 3 to 5 hours per week. Additional responsibilities would include any necessary meetings with school leadership &/or donors, faculty/staff meetings or events, and helping out with any other tasks as requested.
Position type Part-time
Salary $3,780 over 10 months
Benefits Since this is a part-time position, benefits such as health insurance or a retirement savings plan are not provided by the school.

Required qualifications Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, agreement with and support of the school's statement of faith, and a strong commitment to Christian education and the classical model of education.
Additional desirable qualifications Experience in fundraising campaigns.
