Logic School bible Teacher Position Description

        
                    Summary
                    This position would entail teaching a Bible class to our Logic School students in a mixed-age (5th through 8th grades) class for two 50-minute periods a week (Monday and Wednesday). writing and posting weekly lesson plans, attending Logic School faculty/staff meetings or events, and helping out with any other tasks as requested. No grading is required as there are no formal assignments or assessments in the Logic School Bible classes. The school will select at least two books of the Bible to be studied, approximately one for each semester. The teacher would be responsible for leading the class through reading and discussing the selected book of the Bible.

                    Start date
                    Classes begin August 24, 2026. Training for incoming teachers will take place between August 4th and 6th.
                
                    Required qualifications
                    Bachelor's degree; agreement with and support of the school's statement of faith; strong commitment to Christian education and the classical model of education
                
                    Additional desirable qualifications
                    Teaching experience at a classical school; Teaching certification; advanced degree
